Certificate of Origin and Compliance

Certificate of Origin and Compliance

The Certificate of Origin and Compliance is a central feature of the MineralCare platform. It serves as an official, traceable document that guarantees both the legal origin and compliance status of minerals at each key stage of the supply chain — from extraction to final export.

  1. Legal origin of the mineral (e.g., sourced from an officially recognized mining site).
  2. Ownership rights at each handover point (who owns the mineral and when).
  3. Compliance with national laws and international standards, including:
    1. OECD Due Diligence Guidance
    2. ICGLR Regional Certification Mechanism
    3. Kimberley Process (for diamonds)
    4. EU Conflict Minerals Regulation
    5. U.S. Dodd-Frank Act (for 3TG)

  1. Digital Generation
The certificate is generated within the platform using verified field data, GPS tagging, and secure timestamping.
  2. Linked to the Digital Compliance Passport
Each certificate is tied to actors who are credentialed in the system, ensuring only approved entities can issue or receive certified minerals.
  3. Blockchain-secured & Tamper-proof
Certificates are stored on a secure blockchain ledger, guaranteeing their authenticity and traceability.
  4. Accompanied by QR Code
Each shipment or parcel can be verified in real-time via a QR code linked to the certificate — offering instant access to the mineral’s full compliance history.
  5. Multilevel Validation
Certificates are validated by field agents, supervisory authorities, and MineralCare’s compliance engine.
  1. Empower producing countries to prove the legal, clean origin of their resources.
  2. Ensure end-users and international buyers that their supply chains are ethical and transparent.
  3. Reduce risks of reputational damage, compliance failure, and illicit trading.
  4. Facilitate legal exports, taxation, and increased state revenues.

By tracking minerals all the way to the end-user, the MineralCare system enables producing governments to apply a small compliance fee at the final stage of the supply chain. This fee — a percentage of the end-product value — is paid by the end-user in exchange for a Certificate of Origin and Compliance that guarantees ethical sourcing and full traceability.

This approach ensures:

  1. No added cost for artisanal miners, traders, or intermediaries.
  2. End-users receive certified, risk-free minerals.
  3. ✅ Revenue can flow directly back to artisanal miners and/or fund social development projects in mining communities.

A fair and efficient system that rewards transparency — without disrupting the market.

Because strategic wealth must also deliver social justice
